One of the basic tenets of the Slow Food movement is conviviality: taking pleasure in the processes of cooking, eating, and sharing meals with others.
In that spirit, and in celebration of spring (sunshine! warmer temps! wildflowers! spring veggies!), let’s slow down and come together for a potluck dinner. We’ll gather in the Garden Room at the Knoxville Botanical Gardens on Sunday, April 17th from 5-7 pm. (For those who remember, this is the same room in which we had the pie contest a few years ago.)
The rules are the same as always: entrance fee is a potluck dish that includes at least one local ingredient, or $5/person. We strive for zero waste events, so please bring your own place setting (plate, bowl, silverware, cup and napkin). Water will be provided, but this is otherwise a BYOB event.
We can’t wait to see what you create with spring’s bounty. Come have dinner with us on the 17th!
