Slow Food Tennessee Valley is proud to announce our sixth annual Pesto Festo. This year’s event will be held at Erin’s Meadow Herb Farm and will feature a multiple-course, locally-sourced meal by chef Ben Willis-Becker, formerly of Harry’s Delicatessen, currently of Native Foods!
Activities include a silent auction with great items from local businesses, chair massage, farm tour, kids activities, cornhole, a pesto contest, and live music.
Cruze Farm, Old City Java, and Underground Brewing Company will be giving out samples. Local bluegrass band Check Engine will be providing our live music.
Doors open at 4 p.m., with dinner being served at 6 p.m.
Tickets are $45 for Slow Food members, $50 for non-members, $10 for children 5-12, and children under 5 get in free.
We strive to limit the waste at all of our events. Please bring your own place setting. This is also a BYOB event. Please bring your own beverage.
If you are bringing a pesto to be entered into the contest, please bring at least one pint.
